Stamping Fail

Hace como una semana hice un pedido online muy especial, 2 sets de placa de Bundlemonster. La verdad es que estaba con MUCHISIMAS expectativas, en especial porque ya estaba casi una pro con las plaquitas de Shany que tenía. La decepción fue que, el manicure NO quedó como esperaba [inserte lágrimas aquí]. Fue un mega fail. No sé que pasó, pero me quedaron igual a cuando comencé a utilizar las placas hace como 3 meses, no las podía pegar en el stamper, se secaba muy rápido.

A week ago I made a very special online order, 2 Bundlemonster plates set. TBH, I had a lot of expectations, specially because I felt like a pro using the Shany’s I had. The deception was huge, my manicure didn’t look as expected [please insert tears here]. It was a big time fail. IDK what happened, but this manicure looked the same as the ones when I started using the plates, like 3 months ago, I couldn’t imprint the shape on the stamper, it dried too fast..

En conclusión, es como comenzar de nuevo desde cero. Estas placas no se parecen en nada a las de Shany, y bueno, como dicen, la práctica hace al maestro.

Primero, apliqué mi religiosa capa de SH DD como base, luego 2 capas de Jolie Midnight, esperé a que secara y vino la pesadilla, el stamping. Después de numerosos intentos, quedó como lo ven.

First, I applied one coat of SH DD as basecoat, then 2 coats of Jolie Midnight, and then the nightmare began, the stamping. After many attempts, what you see is what I had on my nails right now.

Mi principal estrés fue que NO se pegaba el stamping al sello. Recuerdo que cuando comencé a estampar, utilizar InstaDri fue un pain para mí, así que lo dejé de utilizar, luego que comencé a volverme más «experta» entonces pude utilizar esta marca, que es buena para estampar ya que es lo suficientemente espesa para hacerlo, recuerden, si quieren iniciar a hacer stamping, entre más espesa sea la fórmula del esmalte es mejor, pero al inicio, es difícil trabajar con un esmalte muy espeso, así que pueden iniciar con uno más líquido e ir rotando poco a poco.

And I remembered that when I first started using plates, using InstaDri was kind of a pain in the neck for me, so I stopped using it. Once my expertise increased, I tried again with this brand, which is good for stamping, because it’s thick enough to provide good results, so remember, if you want to do stamping, the thicker the formula is, the better the print will result. At the beginning is difficult to work with thick polishes, so you can start with a thin one, and then try with thicker formulas.
