pink neon + metallic combo

Como pudieron ver en mi entrada anterior tuve una gran decepción con mis esmaltes magnéticos, además del mal acabado. Así que hoy, apenas pude, me cambié las uñas a un combo  súper divertido, unas neon rosadas y una uña plateada. Y me encantó, creo que ese es el mejor feeling después de terminarse las uñas, la satisfacción absoluta.

As you read on my previous entry, I was disappointed with my magnetic polish. So, today, I changed my nails to a super combo that I loved: pink neon and a metallic nail. I absolutely loved the nails, and of course, this is the best feeling when you finish your nails, the complete satisfaction.

Usé \ I used:

• Sally Hansen Double Duty
• Darosa White
• Finger Paints Warhol Wannabe
• Cherimoya Heavy Metal

Primero, apliqué una capa de SH DD. Luego en 4 uñas apliqué una base blanca con Darosa y seguido apliqué 2 capas de Warhol Wannabe. En la uña restante apliqué 2 capas de Heavy Metal y apliqué SH DD como capa final.

First, I applied one coat of SH DD. Then in 4 of my nails I applied one coat of Darosa White and after that, I applied 2 coats of Warhol Wannabe. In the other nail, I applied one coat of Heavy Metal and after all, one coat of SH DD as top coat.

Primero, tengo que decir que no conseguí tomar una foto que capturara TODA la escencia de Warhol Wannabe, es un rosado completamente neón que es HERMOSO, brillante y llama muchísimo la atención, fue amor a primer vista y me encantó en las uñas, aunque creo que haber pintado la base blanca fue una excelente idea, ya que resaltó muchísimo el color y creo que usaré esta base blanca para todos mis neones de ahora en adelante.

First, I must say that I couldn’t take a single picture where Warhol Wannabe could shine as much as in real life, it’s the best neon ever, it’s beautiful, brilliant and it really catch your attention, it was love at first sight and I loved how it look on my nails, even though I think that applying a white base was an excellent idea, it highlighted the pink neon color and I think I will use this white base from now on when using neon or pale colors.

Neon nails

Ahora que los colores neón están de moda, obviamente, no podía quedarme atrás así que tuve que comprarlos. El asunto es que no he conseguido unos de mejor marca, así que estoy intentando lograr lo más que se puede con los de «Darosa».

Now that the neon colors are in vogue, obviously, I couldn’t be left behind, so I bought a pair of them. The thing is that I haven’t been able to get a better brand than Darosa, so I’m doing my best to obtain the best you can get from these polishes. 

Usé \ I used:

• Sally Hansen Double Duty
• Darosa Neon Colors

Primero, el base coat de sally hansen y luego 2 capas paa el esmalte naranja y 3 para el amarillo. Esta marca es super espesa, por lo cual son perfectas para trabajar con las placas como las de Konad, pero cuando se seca, queda como apagado, no como un matte, sino como apagado. Si notan, el amarillo seca verde y no queda perfecto sobre la uña. Luego, puse una capa de Sally Hansen DD para terminar.

First, I applied one coat of Sally Hansen DD, then 2 coats of the orange lacquer and 3 for the yellow one. This brand is super thick, so they’re perfect for working with the plates like the Konad’s one, but once it dries, it doesn’t look shiny, but it doesn’t look matte neither. If you notice, the yellow lacquer looks like green in the nails and it doesn’t look perfect on the nail (it leaves this annoying white spaces beneath, if you know a way to avoid this please let me know). Then, I applied one coat of SH DD to finish.
